Hibari Misora was once known as “the queen of Japanese singers,” ever since the post-WWII era. Though she passed away in 1989, a company called Live Hour has seen fit to revive her in the form of a miniature singing robot. I don’t know whether to be happy that her legend lives on so many years later, or to be thoroughly disturbed by it, but there it is. she is joined virtually by a whole backup band, and they all move awkwardly in sync with the music as it’s played. Japundit dug this one up and has a video of the contraption in action on their page.
