It’s a miracle! One of the oldest Japanese animated films in history has recently been uncovered and restored by the National Film Center in Japan. More than 90 years old, this film debuted in 1917, and is only six months behind the very first anime, of which there seems to be not a single surviving copy. Antiques Roadshow, eat your heart out!
