Remember all those years of your parents whining about how needed you to stop playing video games because you’d just end up lazy, fat and pathetic? Well, seems Nintendo is doing their best to deflate any arguments parents might have these days by offering a service in Japan to augment their best-selling Wii Fit game. The as-yet unnamed service is part of a partnership with NEC Corp, Panasonic Medical Solutions Co and Hitachi Ltd. and will monitor weight and other data registered by Wii Fit. The data will be sent to doctors and health care experts for analysis which will in turn be e-mailed to the users. The service is set to launch in April.
