It’s almost here. Already a huge blockbuster in Japan, it’s only a few more months until Hayao Miyazaki’s latest work Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea arrives on American shores on August 14. In the meantime, the fine folks over at Ain’t It Cool News have the exclusive first-look at the one-sheet (as well as an exclusive still) for the American release which seems to have pared the film’s title down to simply Ponyo. It’s simple, and the design slightly reminds me of one of the posters for Finding Nemo, but it works. Oh, and if you can’t wait until August, the Japanese DVD (with English subtitles!) is scheduled to be out on July 3. A Blu-ray release is set for December.
