Hypebeast reports on the Medicom Toy Exhibition 2009 that went down on June 20th-29th in Tokyo. A wide variety of colorful figures of all sizes and other accessories such as ipod cases were displayed in well executed display cases. Minimal interior contrasted by the loud toys. Now available at Colette is the Leica C-Lux 3 limited edition with Andrew x Colette. If you don’t already know, Andrew is one of the more “popular” Parisian writers that works with bunch of corporates showing the “cool” of graffiti.
Here are some pottery toys designed by Jeremy Fish! This limited edition was created for Superego Editions. They were presented at Milan design week this year and are now being sold on Design2.
As one of Japan’s biggest artist’s at the moment, Takashi Murakami extends his Louis Vuitton collaborative efforts by releasing some plush goods. Murakami’s Putipanda will be released in two sizes, one large and a smaller mobile phone charm.
Airwalk was one of the big guys in the 90′s. Somehow they went under and are now at lower end retail outlets. Staple Design was tapped by Airwalk for a potential resurrection of the brand. Tonight is the celebration! Neil Armstrong will be playing necessary music!
