HIRO is a man of few words, but once you let him near your hair all you’ll really hear is the sound of whizzing scissors. So far during his short stay in NY working at FRANK’S CHOP SHOP, he has already gotten clients such as DJ Atrak, Tyson, and Anarchy, just to name a few. Here is quick interview with HIRO.

1) What is your name or nickname ?

HIRO

2) What is your favorite fashion/style? Also, what type of music do
you listen to?

Simple. Positive

3) You’ve been a barber in your entire working life? Were you a
barber in Japan as well?

Yes. In Japan, I did hair for women as well

4) How did you start working at Frank’s Chop Shop and long have you
been working there?

I had known FRANK’S CHOP SHOP since when I was in Japan. I came to NY
and so … I’ve been working at FRANK’S since June.

5) What is the big difference between Japanese and American customers
and their hair?

The biggest difference is great variety of hair in the US !!!!
Also… bone structure.

6) What’s been the best and the worst experience or memory you’ve had
at Frank’s?

I’m trying to make the things the best every day.

7) In terms of hair styles or techniques, what are your specialties?

Anything!

8) Can you do girls’ hairstyling as well ?

Occasionally..
