Founded in 2002, NYT (New York – Tokyo) is a NYC – based creative agency that is uniquely positioned across the Eastern and Western hemispheres.

NYT started with New York – Tokyo Music Festival 2002 which brought Japanese and US music worlds together in NYC at multiple venues for 4 days. This unique Festival helped promoting NYT brand and logo awareness strong.

Since then, for over 10 years, NYT has been connecting brands and consumers through media, marketing communications, events, and unparalleled client services.

NYT creates promotions from street, online, and in-store events for the brand’s UT, HeatTech, and other lines’ annual campaigns, store openings, and other occasions. 2006 – present

JAPAN FASHION WEEK ORG
As the US press agent for Japan Fashion Week Organization, NYT covers and reports fashion shows and scenes in the US including Mercedes Benz NY Fashion Week.

JAPAN FASHION WEEK ORG
With the supports by the Ministry of Economy, JFW organizes annual Leather Japan at NY Fashion Week. NYT works with JFW in duties from sponsorship to production and PR

MUSEUM OF ART AND DESIGN
For their upcoming major exhibition, NYT coordinates the exhibit of a Japanese fashion brand from sponsorship acquisition to design works handling.

RUSUTSU RESORTS
NYT SNOW is a snowboard tour to Hokkaido started by NYT and Rusutsu Resort in 2009. NYT promotes them as the best winter sports resort for “Genuine powder and luxury”

MTV
NYT brings Japan’s pop stars including Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, AKB48 and Jin Akanishi to MTV Iggy and MTV.COM for their exclusive contents such as Times Sq. live show and interview.

SOMARTA
Since the works for the show @ NY Fashion Week in Feb. 2012, NYT has been working for the US marketing of this Japan’s one of the most promised brand.

SHISEIDO
Hosting Shiseido Beauty Bar at selected premium events, NYT brings a fresh social take to the world’s most acclaimed prestige cosmetic brand.

UNDERCOVER
Introducing Jun Takahashi’s intimate creativity for 20 years, NYT produced the first UNDERCOVER night during NY Fashion Week in 2011, showing “Mirror” documentary and collections.

FIT MUSEUM
For their “Japan Fashion Now” exhibition that explored all its radical creativity from high fashion to street style, NYT assisted in planning and worked on promotion including Ads.

CANDY
With a Lady Gaga favorite CANDY (select shop in Tokyo), NYT produced a Neo-Tokyo fashion event, featuring brands like Christian Dada during NY Fashion Week in 2010.

M.A.C. COSMETICS
NYT assisted their Fafi brand display. The store window with multiple screens featuring Fafi’s art inspired by Tokyo fashion and culture ware installed at M.A.C.stores nationwide.

GALERIES LAFAYETTE
For ASIATIC (a month long showcase of futuristic fashion from Eastern Asia), NYT coordinated 30 brands for their daily fashion shows, windows and supplemental video materials.

GO GIRLS!
Go Girls! is Tokyo Fashion Adventure trip for girls, with special attractions of attending Tokyo Girls Collection and shopping with discount at Shibuya 109.

MARUI ONE
NYT produced a Harajuku Fashion Show exclusively featuring the brands by MARUI ONE (specialized  in Gothic Lolita fashion) in a record breaking show at the Kennedy Center.
SPORTS

A-SEVEN
NYT advertised this Japanese snowboard brand’s products as part of the activities during the NYT SNOW tour. Also we created their look book and  premiered movie. 2009 & 2010

METRO SOCCER NY
Representing Japan, NYT’s (corporate) Soccer Team participated in their  NYC tournament and hosted the party to support the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa.

ZOOYORK
NYT worked with ZOOYORK since NYTMF2002 till NTMF2007 where their pro-riders were on site ripping it on a 4ftx12ft mini-halfpipe we built in Festival ground at Central Park.
ART / CULTURE

AMNH
NYT provided humanoid robot for American Museum of Natural History’s “BrainFest”. Also we produced the first ever pop culture event in association with their “Silk Road” exhibition

ASIA SOCIETY & MUSEUM
Oue works for Asia Society started in 2003. In 2010, NYT co-produced their  fall program – ten events about Japanese culture covering Fashion, Music, Film, Gaming, and Culinary.

BAMCinematek
NYT worked on the “Benicio Del Toro presents Kaneto Shindo Retrospective” for planing, sponsorship, guest relations, promotion, and party production for the 2 week event.

CARNEGIE HALL
NYT promoted the Seiji Ozawa-produced JAPAN NYC, a 4 month exhibit/festival of contemporary Japanese art and music centered at Carnegie Hall.

KENNEDY CENTER
For two years, NYT assisted in planning, preparation, and production of “Japan: Culture and Hyper Culture,”a two week Festival featuring 450 performers from Japan.

LINCOLN CENTER
NYT’s works for them include our co-organazation for “Game Engine” program at NY Video Festival 2004 and  promotion works for Lincoln Center Festival 2011.

EYEBEAM
Producing Tokyo Robot Day for their Robot Festival, Microsoft game event for their student program, and others, NYT added next gen entertainment values to this art+technology center.

HAROSHI
NYT introduced HAROSHI’s impactive art works made out of used skate boards at NYT Music Festival 2007 and featured the artist and  work at  NYT Skateboard event in 2009.

SHIN TANAKA
Since 2006. NYT promotes his works by hosting  Shin Tanaka Night and also making numerous collaborations with other brands such as Uniqlo, Kennedy Center, NYTMF, and more.
LIFESTYLE

TOKYU
Through NYT GO series, NYT promotes the Tokyu Hotels, Shibuya 109, Shibuya Hands and group’s other entities encompassing the entire Tokyu brand.

RED BULL
Constant sampling at our robot and gaming events promoted RedBull to next gen market. Also, we held NYT Snowboard event at RedBull Space in conjunction with RedBull Snowscraper.

MITSUBISHI (MHI)
NYT takes care of MHI’s robot  ”wakamaru”  since 2008. By having him actually work at public spaces, NYT shows MHI’s robot technology and new lifestyle.

CANON
In 2006 and 2007, NYT promoted their ‘Powershot’ with event activities. For our recent fashion projects, Canon’s pro camera equipment are used exclusively for all photo sessions.

PIONEER
Since NYTMF2002 to NYTMF2007, our music festivals and events promoted Pioneer DJ equipment including the CDJ player launching with frequent guest Pioneer DJs.

SHARP
For 5 years, NYT proved SHARP’s Aquos HD LCD TV was superior for 2D/3D moving graphic images by using provided 20 units at our monthly GNG series

TRIBECA GRAND HOTEL
NYC’s own sleek Tribeca Grand was our sponsor for many years for NYT Music Festival, NYT Film Festival, and Monthly MDS. NYT connected the brand to Japan’s upscale corporates.

JAL
Through  JAL sponsored monthly MDS and eNerGy  which premiered  new J-entertainment,  NYT connected  Japan’s  oldest airline company to  new  fans of Japan in the US.

ASAHI
Known as “Japan’s No.1 beer,” ASAHI USA’s goal is to have more American mainstream consumers enjoy their product. NYT features ASAHI beer as comp. drink at most of our events.
ENTERTAINMENT

KANETO SHINDO
POSTCARD is the latest film by 99-year-old director Shindo and Japan’s official entry in the 2012 Academy Awards. We worked on its campaign and now handle international sales.

CMJ
Partnering with CMJ, NYT produced the first ever Night of Japanese music (Boom Boom Satellite and other artists)  to NY’s own popular music festival.

LIMEWIRE
As a partner for their ‘Ear to The Ground’ digital music compilation series, NYT produced its ‘Tokyo’ compilation, bringing tracks by 19 edgy musicians to US fans.

JELLYBEAN RECORDINGS
For this previously one of Billboard’s top dance music labels, NYT co-produced four volumes of Anime Toonz (compilation of anime songs remixed by American DJs) since 2002.

SONY PICTURES
For their animation titles, NYT handles promotion, publicity and premiere events at our selected venues which best fit in with this global film brand.

XBOX360
NYT’s monthly Gamers Nite Groove (GNG) series promoted the XBox 360 brand, using provided 20 units  as our regular platform from its launch in Nov. 2005 until Dec.2008.

KONAMI
NYT promotes their successful Metal Gear titles by focusing on creator Hideo Kojima through the events such as NY Video Fes, NY Comic Con and Metal Gear x Uniqlo. 2003 – Current.

FUSE
From 2004 – 2007, NYT provided video game and digital music content (e.g., 8 bit music) to the Fuse website from our monthly GNG (Gamers Nite Groove) series

MUCH MUSIC USA (MMUSA)
NYT  started with  NYT Music Fes 2002, in partner with MMUSA. As a result, we produced the world’s first music program to broadcast J-pop  performances on US TV channel.
