Itagaki Tomonobu, formerly of Tecmo/Team Ninja (which you may recognize most readily for their Dead or Alive series of games) is back with a new, independent studio: Valhalla Games. The Valhalla Games website just launched last week, and while there’s not much news up yet, you can check out statements from the new execs, including Itagaki. It’s been a couple of years since he left Team Ninja, but now you can read up on his plans for Valhalla, and we’ll be keeping our eye on the studio as more news about their projects comes up.

OSTs have always been the thriving element behind every good video game. Some of my favorite OSTs are that of the Zelda series and Final Fantasy series. No surprise there. I’m sure some of you can relate. As fans of video game music, creative mixes are something any hardcore gamer would love to hear.

And guess what they serve at the bar? Yup, some strangely colored beverages, slime shaped nikuman (pork buns), and girls dressed up like video game characters for you weirdos and otakus.
Over the years, million-dollar franchises like Final Fantasy (a franchise branded for being exclusive to Sony) have joined sides with the Xbox 360. With Microsoft’s fanbase rapidly growing, It’s no wonder that other popular franchises like Metal Gear Solid and Tekken have already followed suit.
