Of what today’s Japanese filmmakers can do in return to a favor for our seniors” Director Haruki Kadokawa states, in his vision for the new update to this famous classic SANJURO. Shibuya Station, long known as one of the trendy youth spots of Tokyo is now redesigned with a new Space age theme. The Spaceship station was designed by Tadao Ando who is famous for his minimalist architectural style. The Spaceship station takes the form of spaceship that is underground. The Station was built to accommodate Tokyo Metro Company’s new Fukutoshin Line which accommodates direct access to Shibuya, Shinjuku and Ikebukuro.
Unlike claustrophobic traditional subway stations, this underground spaceship station was designed with wide open spaces as the central theme. The openness of the station makes it interesting. As the visitors of it take in a cross-section of the busy station, they are able to spot people zipping back and forth on all levels, as well as trains moving at the lower level. Also the sides of the oval walls are vaulted and let air flow in and out from the outside, allowing for a cleaner, filtered amount of air movement in the station.

Just what strange lengths will people go to turn people on to religion? In perhaps one of the strangest we’ve encountered, here’s a comic, reinterpreting classic Bible stories into manga, complete with giant robots. Mecha Manga Bible Heroes, as it is so wonderfully named, will first be tackling the timeless tale of David and Goliath. I personally can’t wait for Noah-kun’s Space Ark.
