SHIBUYA 109
Located close to Shibuya station, Shibuya 109 (department store) is the symbol of Shibuya, and byword for youth fashion. Including all of who’s who of girls fashion brands, the fashion trends that begin here instantly spread across the country, making 109 a fashion hub for young women. Models, stylists, celebrities, office ladies, and school girls are mixed here for their favorite brands.

SHIBUYA
Shibuya is a center for youth fashion and culture, and its streets are the birthplace to many of Japan’s fashion and entertainment trends. Over a dozen major department store branches can be found around the area, which caters to all types of shoppers.

HARAJUKU
Harajuku is the center of Japan’s most extreme teenage cultures and fashion styles, but also offers shopping for adults and historic sights. While Takeshita Dori (Takeshita Street) is the focal point of Harajuku’s teenage culture, Omotesando referred to as Tokyo’s Champs-Elysees generally caters to an older and wealthier clientele.

DAIKANYAMA
Local Tokyo shoppers are often found in the slightly less crowded streets of Daikanyama where most mature fashion trends are often started. Here there is a wide variety of chic boutique shops, as well as many sidewalk restaurants and cafes. This area has a more relaxed and classical atmosphere compared to the rest of Tokyo.

ROPPONGI
Roppongi is Tokyo’s most popular nightlife district offering a large number of foreigner-friendly hot spots and has expanded its appeal as a result of Tokyo’s two largest recent redevelopment projects: Roppongi Hills and Tokyo Midtown. There are also three high-acclaimed museums, including Japan’s largest museum The National Art Center.

SHINJUKU
Aside from its Shinjuku Station, the world’s busiest railway station, Shinjuku features a number of large and famous department stores where a wide collection of small boutiques from the biggest names in imported fashion and the most recent names of Tokyo fashion have made it a shopper’s paradise.

TAKADANOBABA
Filled with college students and young adults, the Takadanobaba neighborhood is dominated by the massive 9 story commercial building called, Big Box building, which contains inexpensive clothing stores, 100-yen shop and others.
