Dear friends in NY,

As we have been following the unfolding disasters happening in Japan, our hearts go out to the people who have been affected by this great tragedy and we give our deepest gratitude and thanks to the rescue workers who have been working tirelessly to help them.

New York – Tokyo was founded right after the tragedy that occurred on September 11th, 2001 here in New York.
The great concern of our friends in Japan to help New York in revitalizing its vibrancy and culture was on display right after September 11th. Both cities have inspired each other over the past decade, trading culture, music, and art between each other as a form of friendship.

And now 10 years later, it has become our turn to help our friend. Japan is in its greatest moment of need right now after the March 11th disaster. It is now our time to support Japan in its hour of need by providing both financial and non-financial support for ongoing disaster relief.

To this aim we are beginning our HOPE projects.

We ask that you please join us in bringing HOPE to Japan.
