TOKYU _ NYT GO: RAMEN

MAIN / INFO

NYT GO is NYT’s new project to promote a global lifestyle following the “design your trip” approach. NYT GO is self explanatory with no tour guide. Each participant would know what they want for themselves before the trip and will take care of themselves.

NYT GO: RAMEN is NYT GO’s first trial. With the recent global popularity of Ramen, the tour’s first destination is Tokyo. Tokyo is the origin of Ramen. The “mecca” has over 5,000 Ramen shops. The tour is an economical and smart 7 day trip for the busy, creative, and urban youth. With visits to various key points such as the Raumen Museum and other locations with the tour group, you will also have plenty of free time on your designed trip!

    GROUP ACTS (WE GO TOGETHER)

    SHINATATSU RAMEN STREET
Having 7 famous Ramen shops: Nantsutte, Higomonzu, Setagaya, Shinasoba Kibi, Saijo,Tsukemen Tetsu, and Shodai Keisuke, Shinatasu (“Master of Shinagawa”) is one the best Ramen streets in Tokyo. It’s located in Shinagawa Station. You may want to try going even direct from the Airport.

    SHINYOKOHAMA RAUMEN MUSEUM
There is no Pizza museum or Burger museum in the US, but Japan has Ramen museum. Let’s go Yokohama! Exhibition gallery to VR movie zone, “My Ramen Kitchen”, souvenir shops, and of course, selected nine Ramen shops from all over Japan. Lots to enjoy!

    TUKIJI MARKET
Saturday morning, we get up early, and go to the world’s biggest wholesale fish and seafood market, Tsukiji Market ! There are great Ramen shops like Inoue in the market. Also we should try fresh sushi. After Tukiji, we can walk to Ginza, and then Asakusa, etc.

    BASSANOVA
On the last day of trip, we will be celebrating our night at BASSANOVA where GO RAMEN’s Keizo is working as a chef. Hope RAMEN ADVENTURES’ Brian MacDuckston would join us as well. Shall we try green curry paste Ramen ?
